USO R1 - Murray v Kendrick

I have gone for Andy in 3 (he can't do it in 2, Drew, I assume that's a mistype!), but with a little reservation. On paper he should do it easily enough, but Kendrick has been playing well above his ranking this summer, ever since troubling Nadal at Wimbledon. His main weapon I think though is a big serve, and Andy should cope with that.

Andy in 3 for me as well. But, just to add another little reservation...Kendrick is an American, so this will be one of the rare matches in the US when Andy has the crowd against him.

Yeah I'm not too hot on this draw to be honest...

Oops! I have just been reminded that Andy double bagelled Kendrick in Newport.

Kendrick was supposed to have a shoulder problem then, though, but I would still expect Andy to beat him even fully fit.

When he won Binghampton last year the crowd were supposed to have been fairly hostile towards him so I wouldn't worry about it.

Only just got here after a total Computer meltdown. Google does find this forum so eventually tracked the url down in a very old email! Took 3 days to get a very old PC working and trace this site! Phew! At least Andy didn't start without me!

Tesco were doing a really good deal, so I order144 for immediate delivery in last May, with another 144 for 1st Sept. Lucky that as I'd just run out! *LOL* But the hire shop moaned at me for what was left of their industrial hoover!

Might be an explanation, but that's still crazy ...complete waste of energy, thats already in short supply.

That would be my guess. Also though, he and Auckland are really good mates so that could be another reason.

I don't see why he shouldn't play doubles, especially as they only play best of 3 here so it's not like Wimbledon.
