Josh has redeveloped his game quite substantially this year. He's switched from a double-handed forehand to a single hander [he still hits a double-handed backhand]. He's been coming to the net quite a lot more this summer, before he was mainly an aggressive baseliner, now he's been serve-volleying quite a bit. He's a powerful hitter off both wings though at times he can be erratic as he goes for a lot of winners. His serve is a big weapon, he gets a lot of cheap points off it especially on fast courts like in New York. Serve-volleying has meant even more cheap points which is great for him.
It was a fantastic win for him yesterday, really hope that he can qualify but Llodra will be tough as he's shown by breaking early and now leads 4-1
