That has to be the best win of Josh's career, to come back from losing the 1st set with so much at stake and coming through the pressure of having to win 2 breakers was absolutely amazing.

Best British performance of the year in my opinion [of course not including Andy's triumphs].

What mental strength to come back and win after losing that break early in the 3rd and having to twice serve to stay in the match

I doubt it, well they might give an article about 2 sentences long but probably not until Monday.

The new LTA site will definately report it tho, it's been disappointing that they haven't covered the qualies aswell as in previous years. There used to be a guy who would watch the Brits in qualies and give full match reports and quotes.

I don't think that a British player has qualified for 2 slams in a year for a long time. Parmar came the closest in 2000.

Last Brit to qualify was Boggo in 2004 and before that, Martin Lee, Barry Cowan and Jamie Delgado in 2001

I think it's done by a random draw. We should know by tomorrow evening, I'll be away on holiday for a week by then though, Bethan, Sally or Mad - can I text one of you to find out who Josh is playing ?
