Pequery is ranked 268, a few places below Goodall, in rd1 he knocked out his out of form compatriot, 20th seed Cyril Saulnier 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. This ended a 5 match losing streak stretching back to the beginning of June. He's got a high of 180, reached in 2004.
Earlier this year he had some good results indoors, making a challenger semi and 3 quarters.
They've never played before, but the Frenchman has played Boggo before and lost all 3 of their matches.
With 5th seed Dick Norman also being knocked out in straight sets in rd1 by Latvian Ernest Gulbis [ranked 207], Goodall's section has really opened up. The highest ranked player left in is France's Michael Llodra who's ranked 168 and plays Gulbis in rd2.
