Fantastic win for Josh, had been getting quite despondent at the British performances today before that result. To beat a player ranked about 100 places higher was a great achievement, one of his best ever wins especially given that he'd only played one tournament in the States before this. Josh's serve looked pretty solid throughout the match, no breaks at all though he missed several chances on Dorsch's serve in set 2.
And now as Sally said, dare we say it but Josh's section has opened up quite a lot with Jean-Michael Pequery beating his off-form compatriot Cyril Saulnier. Pequery is ranked 267, a few places below Josh, he has a high of 180 reached back in 2004. That was his first win on hard courts this summer, he's been on a 5 match losing streak, stretching back to the start of June. [I'll start a Goodall-Pequery thread in a sec].
