Josh has got possibly the best draw of all the Brits. Dorsch is rd1 and then Cyril Saulnier [seeded 20] who lost to Auckland in Graz last week is a possibly rd2 opponent and if he got to the final qualies round then Belgian veteran Dick Norman would be seeded to play him.
Dorsch is at a career high ranking of 165 having reached the semis of Graz last week before losing to Schuettler. However, before that he lost 4 straight matches.
He had a great run earlier this year from April to May. He reached the semis of the Lanzarote beating Boggo along the way in straights, he made the final of the Telde Challenger on clay and then the quarters of the Dresden Challenger.
I wonder if Josh will serve-volley in this match. He did that throughout the grass-court season, and was serving exceptionally well. I don't know if he serve-volleyed in Bronx last week. The courts in New York are very fast and bouncy so it's definately possible to do it on a regular basis unlike in Melbourne where the Rebound Ace is so, so slow.
