Table's updated. Andy's secure at 19th until next week.
Sole threats Verdasco and Acasuso are out, as are Niemenen and Ferrer among the target list, along with Baghdatis who remains overtakeable if Andy reaches the USO final
Behind, Monfils and Srichapan also went out, while Malisse, Chela and Soderling advance, and Massu becomes the first player I know of to drop out of the top 40 by gaining 50 points!
All pins/hexes to be aimed at Tim's table now, I think!
Poor old Nicolas Massu. He made the quarter- final in New Haven, but still ended up losing places and dropping out of the top 40 (Number 41, Soderling is a big climber)
Calleri, Malisse and Soderling won. Massu, Chela, Rochus and Melzer lost.
Calleri can get to within 155 of Andy should he win the tournament.

Thats what i was thinking as well...James Blake might make it into the table as well...by my calculations he should have something like 1950-1850 pts....
hewitt also takes a big hit cos he made the semis last year right?
Ginepri should also fall further behind giving andy some breathing space...
He's defending 700 points, as a finalist last year. That's out of his current total of 925.
so, my spreadsheet puts him outside the top 160 - probably around the 175-185 level. What a drop. Good time to retire, as if he doesn't regain at least 450 of those 700 points this week, he'll be in Challenger land for months.
