2.2 is really good, it means you're a top level county player. 2.1, 1.2, 1.1 are players ranked in the world's top 1000.
Unfortunately he won't earn a ranking point unless he wins his rd1 match but he will have earnt some prize money to pay some of this week's costs.
Unfortunately I don't think he has much chance against the 5th seed who won Romania F15 last week and at 19 he's fast improving. Ekow will do well to win 4 games.
Ekow is first up on centre court tomorrow. 10AM Romanian timne which I believe is 9AM over here. Still, we probably won't hear anything til nearer 9 PM.
That's a shame but losing 3 and 4 to such an on-form player is no disgrace. I didn't expect it to be as close as that ! From this week's showing, Ekow looks like he has the potential to make the top 1000.
