Jade's match today is 2nd on court 9 at approximately 5.30pm GMT today.
She's up against the top seed, Russia's Anastasia Pavlyvuchenko who won the USA junior international hard court championships last week. She's at her best on slow and medium paced courts, winning the Aussie Open juniors and finishing runner-up in the French Open juniors. However, on faster courts and indoors her game isn't so effective, she lost in rd1 of junior Wimbledon. She's the world junior no 1 but unlike some further down the rankings, she hasn't concentrated as much on her WTA ranking which is only 663 while some of the other top 10 juniors are in the top 200. Her best result on the WTA tour has been winning a 10K on clay in Italy earlier this year.
It'll be really, really tough for Jade but if she has a game plan which is as effective as the one she used in rd2, who knows !
