That's a disappointing loss for James but it had to be expected, Peya has progressed a lot since they last played in 2002 while James' ranking has mainly stayed still apart from the short dip below the 300 mark last autumn.

After that surprising defeat in qualifying, he's done well to turn the week around and congratulations to him on breaking back into the top 400. Hopefully the good form continues.

James and Jamie are on court at the moment in the semis against Mertl and Vacek. It's in the early stages. Auckland/Delgado lead 2-1 on serve, Mertl/Vacek lead 30-0

Well that should be some consolation for the earlier result.


It looks like the all Brit final is still on, when do the other pair play?
