No idea why it's just Wimbledon who have doubles qualifying, the other slams definately have the facilities to do it. Maybe it's something to do with the fact that the other slams don't have such a high regard for doubles - the doubles matches are only best of 3 sets while at Wimbledon they're best of 5.
There are doubles wildcards but they only go to Americans and Mark Phillippousis
The other slams go the full 3 sets. It's a real shame there are no doubles qualies as this year I reckon quite a lot of Brits would have got through, we've got so many quality pairs in the top 200 at the moment.
