I read on WTA World that it might be delayed because of the delayed Montreal final. Apparently they might use rankings from last week to decide the seedings because of that. Either way, I don`t see why that should affect the men`s though.

Half of me (well more like 90%) wants Boggo to get serious revenge here, but a little bit of me would like Okun to do well to show that the Davis cup ferrago wasn't all about Boggo's mental attitude.... hmm, maybe 7-6 7-6 to Boggo would achieve both?
For a first round I don't think its a bad draw at all. But further in it means Martin would have to beat Dancevic, Boggo would have to beat Gremelmyar, Josh would have to beat Llodra or Norman, Bloomers has Koubek in his quarter, and Big Arvs would have to beat Kendrick before facing Burgsmuller, Cilic or Korolev.
I would hope for 2 Brits to qualify but realistically 2 to make the final round would be a pretty good performance.
My tips are Josh to reach final round. Martin round 2. Boggo to go straight out to Okun. (sorry Al) Bloomers straight out. Arvs to reach round 3.
Will be interesting to see how alex plays, noam is one of the lowest ranked players here which looks good, but of course with al's loss so recent it looks bad, however al has also in the past turned around losing one week to wins the next, vs Elsenner notabaly, who is probably tougher. We dont know how al is feeling fitness wise either.
i am guessing his match would be around 3pm US time - so whats there herer, 8ish?
