Where is the commitment????  If you are worried about setting an alarm and the Safin match going long or maybe rain coming and getting up for nothing, give me your phone numbers and I'll call you just as the first point is played....lol


I am not kidding, I call family over there all the time and can call the UK for peanuts....

I take offence at that implication! Do you know how many hours I slave away at the rankings thread, working it all out and then melting and molding the wax, sharpening the pins, sacrificing the chickens, and do you know how much time and precision it takes to get each pin to stick in the exact spot where it will be the most effective?


As for whether the beeb would show a Tim/Andy semi, I don't think they can as Eurosport are covering the tournament from tomorrow onwards ( or, they have the rights to do so).

The Beeb could show the match. i mean when they both played at basel, it was on eurosport and bbc at the same time! BUT it probably be insignifcant now becuase andy the top Brit now and tim politely fading away, if that the appropriate way to say!

But it (if it happened) be one of the first all brit semi final in ages on the ATP tour so you never know...(i can live in hope!!!)

I won't be up to follow this but i'll check on the commentary before i go out to training in the early hours.

Looks like we're not going to see Tim in action for quite a while with the rain and the Blake-Safin match still in the early stages. I really like the idea of the wake-up phone call Doug but sadly if you call me it'll wake up the rest of the house and I won't be able to get back online.

The Safin match is more or less over....as Lee/Tursunov went on Henman will be on real soon....

Tursunov has come out slow...go Lee.....although big T can change things in a heartbeat....I'd just love to see an Andy/Tim Semi.....
