Player of the month - July


Nominees:

Alex Bogdanovic: Achieved a career best result in Newport earlier this month, making his 1st ATP quarter-final.

Richard Bloomfield: Made the semis of the Dublin 50K Challenger, helping him rise to a career high ranking of 200.

Martin Lee: Made the quarters of the Manchester challenger in singles and doubles and won the Nottingham Challenger doubles.

Josh Goodall: Won 15K futures title in Felixstowe, reached Manchester challenger final and Nottingham challenger quarters, moving up over 140 places to a career high ranking of 256. Also, he reached the doubles finals in Felixstowe and Nottingham and won the title in Manchester partnering Ross Hutchins.

Ross Hutchins: Broke into the doubles top 200, reaching 3 finals [Felixstowe, Manchester and Nottingham, winning Manchester] partnering Josh Goodall.

Tom Rushby: Reached his first 15K futures final in Frinton.

Jamie Murray: Reached Dublin 50K Challenger final with Colin Fleming and also reached the ATP Los Angeles final with Eric Butorac, losing only to the Bryan brothers

I've gone for Josh as well, but it was hard to decide, three of the nominees are at career best rankings which is excellent, well done to all.

August just started so it would make a difference! BUT the LA tournament was in July so murray should be in for july.
