RE: Andy's Competitors Week 31: Washington etc..

I'm glad your editing rights were returned to you Rob.

Pins for today are as mentioned really:

Chela and Calleri come back onto the list and are once again immediate threats!

Tim is now under threat from Fish, and it would be good to get rid of him as he's playing Andy.

Marach and Moodie are now the nearest threats to Greg but at the business end of the tournaments the points go up pretty quickly so lets remove them both please.

That's all to say really, off you go!

Volandri wins 6-2, 6-3. Marach out. Another Greg threat out of the way.

Next up the two "C's": Chela & Calleri.

Calleri's a break up, 3-2, against the local boy, Michal Przysiezny.  Rain has stopped play. Hopefully Michal can get the crowd behind him, and put an end to Calleri's run of form.

Chela is really struggling tho down 6-4 3-0 (a double break). Good news for andy...

Mayer serving for the match against Chela at 6-4 5-0
And thats it 6-4 6-0. I think that means andy can only lose out to Calleri now?

*considers updating the table*
*thinks again* too tricky....

So Andy drops just the one place - Calleri - today. He leapfrogs back if he beats Fish. And with Chela gone, the worst case is a new career best of 34th!!

Mayer is now looming ominously behind Tim. If Tim loses against Dimo, and Mayer wins his semi against Calleri, then Tim gets overtaken.

Next up: Clement must go out and Andy needs to beat Fish for Tim.

I'm off sailing again this weekend, so if someone could attempt to do the updates, It'd be most appreciated.

Andy kept up his end of the ranking and helped out with tims ranking by beating mardy fish, now if only henman repays the favour by taking out tursunov!

Well, Andy once again moves ahead of Calleri, staying at 33 today.

Fish is removed as a threat to Tim which is excellent news.

Next up is Moodie v. Safin. Pins into Moodie please as he is the closest threat to Greg now.
