Oh wow ! What a fantastic result again for Jamie, Colin Fleming must be wishing he'd chosen to play Los Angeles with him !

Bethan, I make it that Jamie will move up to about 150 now and 132 if he reaches the final ? Are you including points he's defending from last year ?

The semi is on Saturday. Coetzee is ranked 56 [been as high as 23] and Hrbaty is ranked 63 [he was no 14 in 2000] so it's going to be a really tough match but that's what I thought about rd1 !!! Coetzee and Hrbaty reached the Newport final recently but at Wimbledon they lost in rd1 to Auckland and Delgado in 5 sets from 2 sets to 1 up.

The match is last on stadium court after the Hrbaty-Haas semi-final. It'll be on court at around 5pm Los Angeles time.

Oops, yes well spotted Sally. When checking the ITF yesterday, I saw the name Coetzee and automatically assumed he had been playing with Hrbaty.

B/M have been serving pretty well - 82% and 68% of 1st serve points won and 67% of 2nd serve points won. C/H took their 1st and only chance in set 2, just a slight slip in concentration from B/M and that was the set
