RE: DC Fallout

i think you are spot on their aria.

it just seemed hypocritiic to say that this defeat is a real low, whilst then go on and say if he was catpain then a few defeats would be ok to rebuild a team. alex and andy are a new team with new pressure on them and it does take time to get used to it as you say.

I feel that maybe Bloomers and others maybe kicking them selves by not wanting to be selected, with andy beign injured and alex been injured/menatly out of it, maybe one of them could have come in vs Okun. I dont think it would have changed the result cause okun was playing with the belief that he couldn't lose. we seemd to play with the beleif that we couldnt win.

outof interest who was the 5th for the team?

I'm not sure to be honest - I didn't notice anyone on the bench. Perhaps they just went with a four man team because pretty much all the usual suspects were involved in tournaments or, in Auck's case, getting married.

He was playing in a challenger last week I think, but got beat in the first round so it could have been him I guess.

I don't know what the solution is with the DC. Out of our four players, three of them have had to withdraw from tournaments this week. I just think Lloyd should maybe consider that before he starts sticking the boot into them. They might not be good enough, but they did their best and that's pretty much all you can ask. Boggo's defeat was the only one that was really bad and I'm sure he feels as bad about it as anyone - maybe Lloyd should think back to when he was playing and remember any of the matches he had where he just had a mental freeze and be a wee bit more sympathetic. It's easy to sit in a commentary booth a pass judgement.

I think the 5th player was Lewis Barnes.
