Davis Cup GB v Israel

Starting Friday.

TV coverage seems to be BBCi only??? (I have it, I'm all right, Jack!)

Tennis fans left out in the cold again (unless it is on Sky or Eurosport, I wouldn't know about them)

Is there any livescore or OOP website lurking on the web?

I dont think they will, not for some time anyway.

i should be there on friday, so i can text set scores possibly to someone if they would be prepared to update here? not sure yet the service bbc tennis will be offering on this one, possibly game by game with discrpition or myabe just game by game scores.

with regards to tv, i dont think it will be anywhere but interactive, as bc have the rights i dont thinmk they will give/sell them to eurosport or sky.

such a pain, tennis always loses out, snooker last time, golf this time.

the oop is out and delgado has been selected over alex to play int he opening day singles!! i wonder whats going on here, alex has missed the chance to be top seed at manchester challenger for this. maybe he has picked up an injury?

delgado will play okun 1st match the murray will play ram.

im shocked with Boggo  not included in the 2nd matches Assuming Murray wins the 1st rubber, will they give Boggo the 2nd rubber instead of Delgado?

i'd really like to know whats going on. possibly alex is injured, but there sno mention. I am sure he will be absolutly furious. so much press, so much stick last time and now this. can we actualy expect him to play DC again?

he would have been top seed in manchester, his grass form is good and he really needs the points, so to miss it for bench warming is awful. one possiblity is the lta have made a mistake on thier reporting, wouldnt be the 1st time.

im annoyed that the lta picked him for the DC, but dont have confidence in his abilities to beat average players like a country of israel.

I should damn well think so too!

I wonder if it was a mistake or if they just changed their minds?

Friday first match starts 12.45, coverage starts 12.40

No details of time of coverage on the other days but the Saturday doubles starts 2pm
and the Sunday matches start 1pm. I'm not sure if they will cover Sunday if the match is decided, they didn't cover the dead rubber with Serbia Montenegro.
