Morgan Phillips plays Syrym Abdukhalikov of Kazakstan (age 18, WR 1125) in round 1 of qualifying here. He will likely meet 6th seed Manuel Jorquera of Italy (WR 419) in round 2 if he progresses. Morgan beat Jorquera in round 1 of Italy F14 which he won in May.

Probably a bit closer than Morgan would have liked but a win nonetheless. Now for the rematch with Jorquera tomorrow

Rimini £50K Challenger.


Morgan has drawn Radim Zitko of Czech REpublic in round1.


Zitko is ranked 292 and has two futures titles and one challenger semi final this year.


Tough one but the sort of match Morgan needs to step up and win in!
