Well done Boggo. I got the feeling Alex got a little over confidident when he went a set and break up, maybe that is how Levine got back into it. However, it is always a good sign when a set is won 7-5 it shows that a player is reacting well to pressure.

Karlovic retired in the third set so Boggo has what should be a very winable match aggainst George Bastl (wr-145).

a good confidence building win, but I'd be happier if he hadn't lost his serve so many times after going a break up in the second.  Well done anyway!

Lets hope he makes the most of his opportunity here, he has points to defend etc and he has been somewhat unfortunate with draws so far this grass court season.

jesus alex, you got to pick that up. the 2nd set was awful, what happened to your serve!! only winning 57% of ypur 1sts, you did better vs raffa than that!!

bastl i doubt will be so forgiving, but a win over him would be worth 40 points, which will really help shore up the summer, so far al has played well but just not got the rewards.

also a q'f vs dancevic/melzer would also definately bo a good oppourtunity, i have seen dancevic and he is so inconsistent and i think melzer is the type of player al could take on grass. hopefully al's play will pick up agsint these better opponenets too.
