It would be realy interesting to pit Ward against some of the Brits who get wild cards for everything. He has fought through Spanish qualifying 5 or 6 times now and should be applauded. Hopefully in a few tournaments time he will be making the main draw by right. If only he could sneak a few main draw wins! Doing well in doubles as well!
Along with Dan Cox, Myles Blake and Morgan Phillips i think he's really one to watch and wait for! (based on very little but hunces and futures drawsheets!)
James Ward may get that chance. He has drawn Spanish Lucky loser Sergio Perez Perez. Although his opponent is ranked over 30 places higher he is a ll from the qualy draw that James breezed through. Its his best singles draw for ages!
James keeps up his great form to grab another ranking point. Hopefully he can maintain that level when he plays 8th seed Mounir El Aarej WR 668 from Morocco.
Mounir El Aarej WR 668....played 21 won 11 this year...got to the final of Tunisa F1 and semi of Span F16 both in May so on some form...nothing really upto then though...heres hoping that James can be agressive and at least take a set !
