Hi Rob! Isn't this site brillant! I absolutely love it! You seem to really know your stuff about tennis. Yeah..found out that Andy did have a bro who played.  He never quite made it though, went to uni think and we all know what happens there drink + girls = no tennis! So do you think this Andy guy can do it for us?

Thanks for the updates Bladetiger. The BBC are so unreliable at publishing results from futures tournaments. Sometimes results are posted right after a match finishes, sometimes they wait all day before posting the results. It's anoying.

Great win for Colin. He went out at the quarter-final stage last year so he will definitely improve his ranking by 4 points and maybe more.

(It is a 4 point change because last year Felixstowe was a 10K tournament)

Goodall beats Ghedin 75 67 63 and goes on to play Colin Fleming in the semi final!

Fleming beat Nielsen 62 76. Great performance!

No result from Bamford Smith as yet unfortunately.

Bourgois beat Andy Kennaugh 61 64. Perhaps a round too far for Andy.

Drew, you might have to be satisfied with two wins for Andy rather than a win for two Andy's today. I'd settle for that.

Andrew Kennaugh beat a seed in the previous round I think that is the best result of his career so he is making progress. He can take confidence into GB F10.

Three Brits in the semis is a great effort considering this is a 15K event. At the start of the year questions were asked about the wisdom of moving from 10K to 15K as it attracts higher standard of foriegn player. However, this week at least the Brits have risen to the challenge and I think they will be stronger for it.

Does this suggest more British events need to be on grass as this is surely to best surface for our boys?
