i think brad can help andy in a number of ways, mainly although andy has a brilliant tennis mind he often seems to lack a game plan, brad was an expert of spttoing players weakness and making his strengths count agsint them, from this andy will really benefit, i dont know how good brad wil be at the technical aspects, but does andyreally need too mcuh there? a bit on serve, maybe it wobnt be a full time thing, possibly like henman and annacombe (sp?) now it seems the lta are grumbling over the pay, come 500k cant be too much in comparision to whatthey bring in, if andy makes it realy big then it will be great for the furture of british tennis, far ore thna any of thier pissy initivites.

If it is Gilbert all I can say is that things will be interesting. I could see it turning out very well or very, very badly but if Andy, after much thought, is happy that Gilbert is the right man then he is right to go with him.
That being said I will be disgusted if the LTA has to pay £500K per annum for Andy's coach. With Andy making the kind of money that he undoubtably is it would be obscene for the LTA to spend so much money on his coach. That money could be benefitting lots of good young players so if Andy wants such an expensive coach he should be paying a good slice of the money himself.
