Cox wins again.

Now he should try and prepare himself for Poldma. Poldma is ranked 35, but Cox has an outside chance.

Cox vs Poldma

1st set 3-3 both players have broken serve. Poldma was born in 1988 but has yet to get a senior ranking point which isn't really good enough if he considers himself to be a prospect. Daniel Cox is two years younger and he already has made an impact in the early stages of the seniors.

6-5 Cox with a break

Daniel faced a lot of deuces and break points in the last game but holding it seems to have taken the wind out of Poldma's sails as he lost his serve to love.

2nd set. 2-0 Poldma

Daniel was broken at the start of both the 2nd and the 3rd set yesterday and he has gone and done it again. He has made a fight of the this game and got several deuces and 3 break points but he didn't capitalise and it is 3-0 to the Pole.

Corrie vs Lucassen

1st set tiebreak, Ed was broken early in the set but he must have got the break back.

0-1 on serve

1-1

1-2 minibreak

1-3

1-4 with a minibreak, the pressure is on now for the Briton

1-5 two minibreaks

2-5

weirdly it is now 3-4

now 4-4 wow I thought Ed was out of this

4-5 on serve

5-5

6-5 set point Corrie

7-5 I thought Ed was in real trouble there but there was obviously obviously something wrong with the score board. Good job to take the first set point.

4-1 Poldma

I think both players broke although I was concentrating on the Corrie match (and Sharapova Dementieva)

Cox holds to 30 so it is 2-4 and an excellent time to break.

5-2 Poldma

Cox had 0-30 but held then the Pole held to 30.

Poldma breaks again and it is 7-5 2-6

Appologies to the Poldma family, it turns out he is from Estonia not Poland.

CORRECTION it is 7-5 3-5 !!!!!!

Daniel Cox is still in the second set and he has 0-40 on the Estonian's serve
