Wow, Donald Young is down there with the Juniors.  Must have got tired of the double bagels....he has a great chance of winning the whole thing.  A horrible draw for Iain.

im not sure on the boys style of play, but i think rice and cox have a good chance as they are playing south american opposition so grass probably not their favourite surface. iain got a good chance against young as hes been not playing that well on grass, didnt he got knocked early at queens juniors?

This is going to be interesting. I think we have some good prospects in the next generation and I will be watching the results of Dyce, Rice and Cox in particular.

Graeme Dyce is on court just now and he has just saved the first break point and the match is level at 2 games all.

Graeme gave up a break point at 4-5 and at 5-6 but he held on to take the match to a tie break

Dyce - Bowles

0-1

1-1

1-2

1-3

1-4 c'mon Graeme it's time for some big serves

2-4

3-4 good now only down one minibreak

3-5

3-6 going to need to pull those big serves out again

4-6

4-7

Graeme won points in all of Bowles service games but he only got one break point and paid the price in the tiebreak where Bowles won all his service points. Must return better in the second set.

More disapointment, Emilano Massa bt David Rice 7-6(5) 6-3

I guess this was to be expected when you look at the rankings but I was hoping that one of these young guys would take this opportunity to make their mark.

We still have Daniel Cox and he has the best results of this group of youngsters. Let's hope he can turn the tide.

Daniel Cox shocked everyone in Roehampton, I am pretty bullish on him winning a round at least.
