i know everyone looking forward to this match, last on centre court so hopefully a long hard battle! Its a pity henman won in 5 had it not been for his stupid mistakes that cost him 2 set points in the 1st set tiebreaker!! Ah well at least a win a win!!
Now then who you going to tip to win this match, even though federer the overwhelming favourite how will he win? i hope henman is physically prepared for this match, though i think he got plenty in the tank!! Ermmm...like what mcenroe said, he should give his all as he got no pressure at all!
i think its gonna be close...with a patriotic crowd backing henman, i think he probably go to 4 sets to federer, though i hope im wrong!
(edit: please put a poll for this thread thanks!. Edit by Imoen: poll added, just for you )
Wow 5 out of 5 people so far including me agree that Fed will have a set taken off him by our dearest tim before going on to win and getting through the first two rounds which is probably his worst draw as number 1 seed at a grand slam ever.
Yep, i went for a solid heart over head. But you never know.
They are set to play 4th on Centre tomorrow with a men's match and two women's so I'd guess they'll start around 5-5:30pm. But could be very wrong (was for most of the matches today)

I expected a loss, but not quite that bad. Tim played well in the first set, but against Fed "well" is not enough. The less said about set 2 the better. . .
I just feel sick to the bottom of my stomach. I know Henman's ranking will improve and next year he will be seeded, but boy this feels horrible. I always felt like he'd get another great run and Wimbledon and who knows, but what crappy luck he has had.
He arrived on the scene when the courts were slowed down and the balls got heavy. They have slowed things down for the clay courters and serve and volley guys are nearly gone. In addition he got to compete against two of the best players of all time in Sampras and Fed. Henman's time was 20 years ago with a wooden raquet then I wonder how many Wimbledons he would have won.
