HAve you noticed on the Wimbledon live scoreboard: Zib & Montanes are playing on both courts 15 & 16: I wonder how they're managing it? Zib on 15, Montanes on 16, with a very high net ?

Lol. I guess that must be how they're doing it.
Baker breaks to stop Seppi winning. Now all he needs to do is hold, then break, then hold, then break...not much to ask is it?

GSM Seppi. At the end there you could really tell it was Jamie's first 5 set match, he looked pretty tired. did really really well though, definitely proved he deserved the wildcard. I'm sure he will learn from it.

Too bad that jamie lost he played well against seppi cosidering he was in the semis at nottingham! watched the last two 1/2 sets and he played well. served great at times, felt sorry for him when he was 3-2 up in the 3rd set when he leading 3-0, had a bad line call when his 2nd slice serve scraped the line! Had great groundstrokes especially his backhand, his forehand let him down at times, sometimes he striked the ball cleaning and others he'd couldnt cope with seppi's powerful forehand (though they both got similar games).
All in all not a bad day for the brits! Boggo & Baker played exceptionally well. pleased with boggo's performance at least he gave a big fight with nadal! Delgado was a scare, i suppose his expereince carried him through in 5 sets! Greg didnt played too bad, but was it just one break in each set? if so, he should be proud considering he came back from a hip injury, but now he may quit the game
Dissapointing result for Jamie. There were some real flashes of brilliance in there but just not enough. That was the first time I have seen Jamie play a full match and I was impressed with his movement and willingness to chase everything.
I think Jamie's achillies heal is currently his serve, in the third and fourth sets Seppi got a good read on it and Jamie started most points on the back foot. He was able to break Seppi but he couldn't hold onto his own serve.
Having seen Jamie's shot making ability and his will to win I am confident that he can push his ranking a lot higher, however, the serve needs to be improved a lot if he is going to consistently compete with guys at a higher level.
I couldn't watch any of this, Freeview only gives a 2 extra courts option (still a problem when you would like to watch all 3!), and his match was not an option.
Sounds like Jamie put up a really good show, considering he has not had experience at this level before. Next year, Jamie. . .
