RE: Wim R1 : Mackin v Baghdatis

What a tiebraker from Mackin, well done to him but Baghdatis did contribute a bit but in the end Mackin is now 2 sets to 1 up.

4-6 7-6 7-6 1-0 Amac

Alan went 0-30 down, again at the start of a set, but he is really fired up now and wins the next four points.

Alan broke with a powerful fh return down the line. It look like Bagdatis's serve would carry him through that game but right now if the serve misfires there is very little left.

3-0 Mackin.. I wonder what Draper would have to say if Mackin ends up winning eh? After criticising Mackin getting a WC.. But as I know it's not over yet..

3-0 Amac

Bagdatis hit a couple of lovely winners in that game which I thought would get him going but Amac is playing with great believe and even his serve is emerging as a weapon.

3-1 Amac

Bagdatis holds to luv. When his first serve goes in he still looks a fine player.

Andrew Castle has left the commentry box but I don't think anyone else is thinking of leaving this match.

3-2 Mackin now as he's been broken..

Baghdatis has called for an injury time out and is currently being attended to..

3-3 as Baghdatis levels..

Mackin now serving but Baghdatis has went down holding his groin and seems to be in quite a bit of pain..

15-0..

15-15, unforced error from Baghdatis..

15-30, another unforced error..

30-30, good play by Baghdatis with a drop shot which Mackin reaches but then is lobbed.

30-40, 3rd unforced error from Baghdatis and a BP for Mackin.

What a shot from Amac and he breaks back to make it 5-5..

This match has got really weird since I stopped commentating on it.

Bagdatis has had problems with his back, knee, groin and general equilibrium yet that seems to have spurred him on and he leads 3-1 with a break.

4 hours and 11 minutes..

Plus a terrible shot by Mackin has now given Baghdatis a double break and now goes up 4-1 in the final set.
