Ouch, Amac needed that game to keep some momentum.

Losing that set seems to have improved Bagdatis.

Easy hold and Bagdatis stopped halfway through to chat to someone in the crowd. The umpire didn't like that and apparently gave him a warning in French.

Good first point for Amac but for the second he was drawn into the net and the enevitable happened. Alan battled through to take the game but even by his standards that was tough.

Another routine hold for Bagdatis, he is swinging freely right now but he is likely to have a dodgy service game in this set Amac needs to keep going.

The was generous from Bagdatis, he had some chances and missed, hopefully his concentration is a little down.

Bagdatis is playing better just now. Alan's more workmanlike approach isn't getting it done in this set.

Bagdatis is a little tight and Amac has a bp and a second serve. Alan does better than usual and the reply is long. Game Mackin.

The line judges are changing and good ridence.

Another error from Bagdatis and he looks thourghly fed up. Credit to Alan, he has pulled out his best at the business end of the set and he might be winning a few of the crowd over.

Bagdatis holds with a drop shot but he is rocking right now. Alan looks confident lets hope he is, and Bagdatis keeps missing.

Wow, Alan was 15-40 down and he went to what he knows best hitting the ball hard and true. Tiebreak time.

Tiebreak

1-0 Amac

minibreak. Rally and Bagdatis misses.

1-1

Amac hit the net of a ball he thought was going long.

2-1 Amac

Another fh error from Bagdatis

3-1 Amac

Bagdatis tried his favourite trick of serving wide and the playing into the open court but there was no snap to the move and Amac runs the ball down and passes Bagdatis down the line.

4-1 Amac

Another Bagdatis error

5-1 Amac

More strong play from Amac and another error. The crowd cheer, I guess they are not all from Cyprus.

6-1 Amac

Same again

6-2 & 6-3 Amac

Good serving from Bagdatis

6-4 Amac

A lucky net cord for Bagdatis and the crowd cheer for Alan

7-4 Amac

Alan just needs to get into a rally and Bagdatis will hit errors. The last one was high, wide and ugly.
