RE: Wim R1 : Berlocq v Bloomfield

I am not even sure I have a "latest posts" button.....

Anyway, what is Berlocq's ranking?  Looks like he is having tons of probs with Bloomfield's serve.....so hopefully Richard will break him soon and it should be over.

Are the Beeb showing this on TV or are you doing what I am doing....watching Andre and checking scores here?

Does the Beeb show more than one match at a time?  Like Beeb 1 & 2 showing diff matches?

The Beeb use their digital channel to show 5 matches at once: the main TV feed plus four.

Right now it's Agassi on the main feed, plus Bloomfield, Keothavong, Cljsters, Mattieu/Philipoo.

the "Recent Posts" button is along the top of the page in internet explorer - below the ANdy/Wimbledon graphic. When you press it you see the last 15 or so topics that have been posted into across the whole messageboard - invaluable if you don't want to have either multiple windows open or have to go from one section to another

the beeb shows more than one match on the bbci thing for people with digital viewing. I'm watching it online where the same feeds are, but only available to UK users. Sorry, had to pop out then.

Berlocq is ranked at number 96 in the world.

Bloomfield just broke his serve again! to lead 3-2. Rochard serving:

15-0, ace
30-0, another excellent serve (it seems his serve is working today!)

Sorry, popped out again. But.. having held serve, Bloomfield breaks again to lead 5-2 in the second set!

Thanks for that....yeah being it the States means that I can't get the Wimbledon live feeds.

Bloomfield is now 2 easy sets up.  I thought it would be closer, this is great.

15-0, a really well constructed point, going behind Berlocq for the winner. Richard is playing very very well today.
30-0, unreturnable serve.
40-0
40-15,
game, ace.

1-1

At the end of the set, both players looked like they couldn't quite believe what was happening!

15-0, if he can keep holding as easily as he has been then the match is in the bag!
15-15
30-15, once again it looked like Berlocq gave up on the point when he saw it was going for the line, almost like he's run out of energy
30-30, a shot straight into Richard's body, nothing he could do.
30-40, missed it, sorry
deuce, ace
ad Bloomfield, unreturnable body serve. (the very small crowd are behind him but it's a tiny crowd!)
deuce, Berlocq's turn to do a super passing shot
ad Bloomfield, he is great at the net
game, Richard. more good volleying and smashing

Richard leads 4-2 with a break and 2sets to love

Excellent win for Richard. How much would 35 points take him up the rankings?
