Berlocq - the lad whose claim to fame is beating Donald Young 6-0 6-0 then losing next round 0-6 0-6!

Berlocq is finding things tough on the main tour, he has only won two matches out of 12 on the main tour this year, last year he played just challengers. I cant see a record of him ever having entered a grass court event....A wonderful opprtunity for Richard!

By the way, Berlocq is ranked at number 96 in the world currently so is a very good draw for Richard!

Hmm, I'm gonna go for Bloomfield in 4.. But I feel this might even go all the way to 5.. But this is a good draw for Bloomfield. Considering Belocq's current form.

Richard served first. Held serve, broke serve, held serve, At deuce on Berlocq's serve. So...


Bloomfield leads 3-0 first set, at the moment.


Make that 3-1 with a break and 15-0 on his serve.

40-30, beautiful volley from Richard, right on the line.

1st set to the Brit, 6-1.


From the way they're both playing you'd guess it was Richard in the top 100 and Berlocq at 260.

15-0...30-0...30-15 (great return winner)...40-15...game. 1-0 to Berlocq.


Richard to serve:

30-0, great smash from Richard
40-0, unreturnable, Berlocq did well to get his racket on it.

2nd set. The big news is that Berlocq actually held his serve for once.


1-1 and 15-0 on Berlocq's serve.
