Melanie South is playing aginst Schiavone now. lost the first set 63. But is a break up in the second 4-2.

Just out of interest why don't you do seperate threads for each British player in the women's discussion as in the mens?

I don't really know, mainly because I'm not watching the women as closely as the men so not posting the score as often.


Borwell has a break in the first set and is at 5-2.


South is on serve in the third still.

South just broke Schiavone the 11th seed in the 3rd set and now is 4-3 up..


Fair enough.. It's looking a bit good for 2 women getting through..

With Borwell now serving at 5-3 for the set..
