Wasn't Jenkins ranked inside the top 200? I'm surprised he hasn't made greater inroads than that Bobby Reynolds kid(or is he?).
As for Josh, he's been playing well enough to be in the top 200, even though the brits have a slight advantage on the roehampton grass. i think Josh would win but it depends on Jenkins, how's he been playing in his two matches?
Jenkin is most definately beatable, Lee Childs beat him in straights at Surbiton. He's ranked around 250. Game-style wise he's an excellent athlete and his big weapon is a laser-like double-handed backhand.
Jenkins has benefitted from a kind draw which has pitted him against 2 out and out clay-courters who are "muppets" on grass. Josh has had the tougher opponents.
i fear that josh may rush in a 5-set match as it will be the 1st time he will have contested a 5-setter whereas Jenkins has been in some 5 set matches even though he may have lost in straight sets!! so i think it will be tough but i think jenkins will edge through due to experience.
i dont think the final rounds are starting today, playing 2mrw. remember when delgado was a playing a 5 setter but he completed on a friday cuz of rain!
