does the big man have a problem? he pulled out of the 3rd place play off. lets hope its not too serious, although wimby is puit from him, there are those 3 challengers in a row so maybe he can salvage something from the grass season.

Josh wins 3-6 6-1, 9-7

What a win !!! Great display of mental strength from Josh, coming back to win it. I really thought that De Voest would go on to win once he'd broken Josh back but I'm delighted to be proven wrong !!!

So 2/4 Brits through so far. It's been weird as the guys I expected to win - Auckland and Parmar, have lost. I hope parmar's ok, feel really gutted for him. Must be so hard missing out on Wimby after all the success he's had there over the years.

Hopefully he'll do well in Dublin, Nottingham and Manchester challengers. Doesn't have much to defend.

Now Childs v Bozo on court 16. Hopefully Lee can show the form he displayed in Surbiton qualies when he thrashed several much higher ranked players
