That was some effort from Jamie B he only gave up 2 bps all set although he made a bit of meal of serving it out.

2 double faults from Udomchoke in the first game hopefully a sign of things to come.

4-1 Udomchoke - it looks bad but its only the one break and the stats suggest Jamie just needs to place his second serve better. Udomchoke is only getting 1/2 his first serves in in this set so there's still hope!

Another break means Udomchoke is serving for set and match

Its all over!

With all the possible withdrawals - Greg, Monfils etc its just possible Jamie will get a lucky loser spot but unlikely.

Another good effort to record a first really big win,. Udomchoke has been winning challenegers left right and centre the past couple of months so Jamie did well to stay with him so long.

Hopefully he'll take the next step at Wimbledon!

Well done to Jamie, he did really well in that match, hopefully the improvement can continue he'll win against his next top 100 opponent.

A LL spot would be great as well.

Thanks fort the commentary everyone.

Aaaarghh

So disappointed that Jamie lost. However, an excellent effort, Danai's extra experience probably told in the end. Very promising that Jamie can get so close to a top 100 player on by far his least favourite surface.

His results have shown that he's definately stepped up a level. Beating Prpic 3 and 0 was amazing as the Swede is ranked 196 and beat Jamie indoors in straights in April. That was a fantastic win.

Re the lucky loser situation: Can someone explain the exact state of affairs for me. Jamie is 3rd in line as the loser of the Kunitsyn-Vacek match and the loser of the Navarro-Adaktusson match are both ranked higher than Jamie.

I`m not sure if they go on rankings or pull out of a hat now
