RE: Nottignham ATP

Vacek is 7-6 (3) 5-2 up on Bamford at the moment, having broken back and broken again before holding serve. As I type Vacek has a MP. One has been saved and this is the 2nd MP. Vacek has just won.

Marray is 6-4 2-1 up on Fruttero. It`s on serve in the 2nd set. As I type, Jonny has 2 BPs, but both have just been saved . Fruttero has Adv but it`s just gone back to deuce.

Navarro Pastor is a set up on Hutchins, 6-3.

Marray serving for the match at 5-3 in the second. Come on Jonny! 0-30 down, stop choking! Back to 30-30. Jonny wins 64 63. That's two Brits in the final quali round, so far.

Hutchins facing a bp at 3-4 down in the second A break here and Navarro Pastor will serve for the match Super, He saves the bp and goes on to hold. 4-4

Can someone please post score updates of Colin and jamie's matches today. To get the live scoreboard go to the official website and go to the results page. I'll be out until 6pm so this would be appreciated so I can see how it went

No result for Colin but the fact that Vacek played and beat Bamford (round 2) - he must also have beated Fleming (round 1).

Yeah, neither first round match is the easiest. Mirnyi is a tall player, known for his doubles mainly (his half of the second best double team in the world Bjorkman/Mirnyi) but he's been doing quite well recently (one of Andy's competitors which is how I know). Tough for Alex but Mirnyi isn't known for having any particular weapon, just a good all round game. I think Alex is capable of beating him, but would have to play his very best. It would be a big upset. Hopefully it happens!

As for Tursunov...! His game is even more erratic than Murray's!! We could see a super match with brillant tennis from both players or a really poor quality match with errors all over the place. Whichever happens I wouldn't like to call the result. Murray CAN beat Tursunov but it depends on where he is in his head I think.

Good luck to both of them! And here's hoping both Baker and Marray join them in the main draw (and if that happens that Bloomers doesn't draw one of them, although that would mean we got a Brit into the second round.)

Doubles Main Draw

Andy and Jamie Murray have a wildcard and play Gimelstob/Wawrinka

Jamie D and Martin Lee also have a wildcard and start against the number 1 seeds Erlich/Ram after that it gets easier
