RE: Nottignham ATP

For a mo0ment there  i thought we'd have a boggo murray 1st round as they are next to each other in the draw, i would love to see that, but unfortunaly not to be yet.

Murray get the 5 seed Turminator - lets hope for andys sake he plays like he did vs tim not like vs alex.

Alex plays miryani - though one? i dont know much bout this guy.

Bloomers has got a qualifer.

Bloomers against a qualifier could either be a very good draw for Bloomers or a very good draw for the qualifier! If you know what I mean. I fancy Andy to dispatch Tursunov coz he'll stress him out but I think Boggo has had another terrible draw. Even if he beats Mirnyi he's no chance against Dimmy/AM.

i'm not sure, i think al could have a chnace vs AM on grass here. nottingham is al's best surface, i think its very fast grass, has andy even played here b4? i think if al gets a chance vs andy it will really push his game up. andy needs to pick his level up to beat DT tho, he cant play like hs did vs tpisy surely?

My scoreboard doesn't refresh automatically so I missed the start of the match but...

J Baker v Prpic (which presumable means he beat Crisp earlier?!)

5-3 serving for the set 40-30

game. Baker takes the first set 63.

Second set. Prpic serving. 0-15...15-30...15-40...game

Jamie serving: 15-0...15-15...30-15...40-15...game

Prpic serving: 15-15...30-15...30-30...30-40...game 3-0 to Baker!

My server won't allow me to open the draw sheet or OOP so I don't know what happened to Baker's first match (although I think it's safe to presume he won!) or Colin.

Aaargh! My local lad Iain Atkinson drew Jonny Marray! Now who do I support?

I don't know who you supported but given that Marray v Fruttero just came onto the scoreboard I presume Jonny won. / choose you're emoticon!

Also Vacek is playing Bamford at the moment so I'm afriad Colin lost no idea of the score though. Silly computer.

Great couple of wins for Jamie B. Problem is he's ever so likely to face Udomchoke in final qualifying round.

Vacek breaks straight back

I'm off to watch A-Rod vs Blake.

Keep it up the Brits at Nottingham!

Vacek takes the first set 7-3 in the tiebreak.

But... Bamford breaks inmmediately at the start of the second, if he can just hold serve this set  As I'm typing he's struggling to hold, at deuce saved a break point there. Come on Bamford

Meanwhile, Marray and Fruttero are locked on serve in the first set 5-4 no break points for either of them. Come on Jonny!!

And finally... Hutchins/Navarro Pastor has just started, Hutchins served first and both held their first service games.
