Elsa was playing well, and trying to step in, take the net away from Hannah, trying to keep it on Hannah's backhand

But couldn't really do anything about the onslaught

A really super week of tennis from Hannah

The second set was far less exceptional than the first - had to work harder - stepped back a little

But it was always her match, no one would ever think that she was going to blow it

The final qualifying spot this year went to someone ranked 235. The current occupant of that position has 316 points, so 19 more than Hannah currently has.

Obviously this may not be accurate for next year but she may be pretty close.

I though that was perhaps the best match I've seen her play. A ruthless top quality display of clean hitting and good serving. A minor blip for a couple of games in the second set but you would expect that. But otherwise pretty flawless.

I think she has played 17 )or is it 18) tournaments so far - if I have understood it correctly she can play 20 tournaments (16+4 merited increases) up to the week of her 18th birthday (18/02/27)
