 Mini vibes. Sonay has a CH 44, it's not a Slam, and she is winning matches at a WTA 1000 for the 3rd tournament in a row, with 2 top 20 Indian Wells wins and now another 2 so far here. Even if she goes all the way, and even with arguably better wins, the whole thing is just not in such shock territory but it is heck of impressive, especially with a 6 month time out in between.

 Well, it may not be as shocking but it is every bit as impressive. Midi vibes. 

Whatever, maybe a similar feel to Arthur at Wimbledon. A massive jump in public perception as a result as well. Fabulous

 Her pre- tournament ranking is a bit false though.  What was her  pre-injury ranking?  That would be more realistic.

 

A great chance to win this tournament.  Sonay looks fit and fresh in comparison to many other players.
