Coup Droit · Tennis legend

Boys & Girls: J60 Loughborough II, indoor hard (Week 40)

Coup Droit · Tennis legend

Having won last week, I believe that Grace Watson decided to sit this one out

Second seed, Milica failed to come through this time, too, but the other seeds fared better on the whole

QFs:

Mila Angrave v (5) Sophie Johnstone

(4) April Sackflame v kate Murray

(7) Bella Rebel v (5) AUS

(6) klara Sehnalova v (16R) Millie Ryder

The Australian girl, Seungyeon Seo, is only 13 (born in 2013) and has been causing a bit of a storm, getting to the QFs of a recent J200

Will be intereting to see how she does against our 2012-born Bella

Coup Droit · Tennis legend

Last week's winner, Harry Voss, couldn't repeat his glory and came unstuck in the QFs in a tight match

QF:

Jan Janda def. Harry Voss 6-4 3-6 6-4

Murray Watters def. (8) Dash Green 2-6 6-2 7-5

(4) SUI def Rocco Richardson 6-2 6-4

(wc) Sam Hostiuc def. (WTN) Isaac Sallu 6-2 6-4

It's an all-GB final 4 - and three of them are only 14

Big congrats to Bella for taking care of the precocious Australian 13 year-old with ease

April Sackflame will not be pleased to have lost to a girl her own age but well done to kate Murray
