It's not for the faint-hearted, this match, but Leticia gets the first set, 6-4

If this goes the distance we're looking at a 4hr match ...

It's a 48 main draw with 16 seeds. Summer doesn't have a bye, she will play a qualifier.

Yup - sorry - misread the BYE - I'll change it

Both girls also have plays in the doubles, though not with each other

You've got to feel for the coach / family member / whoever is with them biggrin

Leticia breaks and then holds to go a set and 4-2 up, nearing the 2 hour mark for the match

I always go and watch a bit of Leticia if she's playing (at a British Tour, the NTC or wherever)

And I've seen her mum a couple of times but also quite often she's with a guy who I believe is her older brother (apologies if not)

Definitely pushing the bounds of brotherly love if he has to sit through many matches like that biggrin

Well it was the first match to finish - the other three currently playing have all gone to a decider. Probably at least three hours until the qualifiers will be placed.
