J100 France

Liv Zingg is top seed, and won her R1 match comfortably 

Alice Haddad got a more hard-fought win in R1, 7-5 in the third 

 

J100 Spain 

Sam Zlotnik and Ara Selvaraasan both got R1 wins and are through to R2

Playing together they got a win in dubs too

In the girls, Anna Boron lost in R1

But Emilija Lebedevaite and Sofia Tatu both won their R1s and are into R2

All three girls, with different partners, won their first doubles matches 

 

J60 Switzerland 

Samantha Haslett (age 14) got a win in R1 before losing in R2

J100 France

Liv is into the semi-finals

Alice Haddad lost in R2

Liv+ are also into the semis in doubles


J100 Spain

Sam Zlotnik is through to the QFs in singles

Aran lost in R2

But the two are into the SFs in doubles

In the girls, Emilija lost in R2

But Sofia Tatu won and is also into the QFs in singles, and SFs in doubles


J100 South Africa

Hermione K Davies got a wildcard and was then second seed

She won her first two matches but then lost a close three-setter to the 6th seed in the QF

Daphne Lovdahl lost in R1 but is into the doubles semis


J60 Singapore

Emily Craven and partner, and Calista Lau and partner, are into the doubles QFs and will play each other - so a Brit into the SFs


J60 Slovenia

Boyan Ilchev and Murray Watter both got one win

J60 Singapore

Emily Craven and partner are into the semis of the doubles


J100 France

Liv plays her semi-finals of singles later today

And also won her semis in doubles yesterday so has her dubs final later today too

Good luck to her !


J30 Romania

Papaya Douvall is playing the QFs in dubs


J30 North Macedonia

None of the lads came through the group stages but Matt Kiernan and Harry Voss, and Liam Sharkey and partner both won in doubles and are into the QFs

Sam & Aran took the title in a real nail-biter, 2-6 6-1 11-9 !

Sofia+ lost their doubles final


Liv Zingg also lost her doubles final in the J100 in France. But singles still to come


J60 Tunisia

Bella Rebel (age 14) is into the singles SFs

and still going in doubles too, as is Jayden Oladimeji


J30 Kosovo

Ginny Chen (age 14) is through to the SFs in singles

Dario Puljic has made the boys' doubles final - good luck, Dario


J30 Maldives

Haqim Kamal is into the finals of the singles - good luck, Haqim

FINAL: Sam Zlotnik def. (2) Vlad Secara (ROU) 6-3 6-3

A wonderful week for Sam - he's only had one J30 singles title before this - does the double with his doubles title reported above - and will give him a big jump in the rankings too

Girls Singles Final: Ginny Chen (age 14) def. (5) Nathalie Misovsy 6-4- 6-2

Ginny's first ITF singles title ! Great step for her, as she's starts her tennis ITF adventure


Dario Puljic and partner came up just short in the boys' doubles final


J60 Tunisia

Bella Rebel is into the final of the singles and doubles - good luck, Bella !

Girls singles final: Bella Rebel (age 14) def. (6) Safia Allani 7-6(4) 6-2

(Bella and partner lost their doubles final but who cares? )

Like Ginny above, Bella is born in 2012 and only just getting going in ITF juniors

A J60 singles title is a lovely thing for the CV

 Yes, sometimes we have quite a few rather 'soft' titles - but these are high-class titles for the age groups in question - a good week indeed biggrin
