Thanks Paulsi, good to know. I guess also, that's why his ranking is where it is. So much is experience and in between the ears!

How did Arthur play?

Rottgering has beaten Jan and Henry in recent weeks but generally his results havent been that strong. Machac is an unexpected win; so not sure where to place him. Feels like he seems to like faster courts and could be dangerous for Arthur, but no idea really!

He's 19 so clearly on the rise, but for a place in the quarters of a strong ATP 250, it's about as good a draw as Arthur could have hoped for. He'll need to play a little more consistently than he did against Cruz Hewitt though.

Yep - albeit just last 16 at this stage!

I'm honestly glad that Arthur is at least winning some games. I was afraid that this sudden rise in level would have left him with no wins and destroying his confidence. The good draws have definitely helped.
