BB:  it wasn't the asterisks, it was the brackets I used, which I've now replaced with parentheses & that fixed the problem.  Thanks for the suggestion.  Stupid system!  furious

CR is doubles only in the draw, but you can state the singles alongside it if it was used for entry

 Looking at the draw properly now, actually quite tough for the British pairs. Neal/christian and Julian/Lloyd didn't come out badly, Henry and Harri have a tough one, I think, and Luke + and Marcus/David, Joe/Rajeev have tough openers, for sure. 

Henry and Harri worry me, feels like the hardcourts haven't gone well, they seem to have maybe gone off since winning Wimbledon and Henry seems to be distracted with stuff - maybe personal stuff - and looks like he is giving the Asian swing a miss after this. 

No doubt they'll get it back in due course, but feels like the emotional pressures of getting to the top and winning Wimbledon have caught them up and they need a rest.

I showed it that way purely to reflect what the entry list said, something I've never done before & shan't ever do again.  I've now amended it.

Donski.  He's a decent enough doubles player, mostly on the Challenger circuit.  His regular partner this year has been the Indian, Siddhant Banthia, with whom he played in the Umag ATP 250 in July - not very successfully:  they lost in straight sets in the first round to Frantzen & Haase.

 thanks SC - i think using doubles rankings only in these types of posts, as you have always done, is the right thing to do - seedings are based on those and the players status as doubles players reflected in those. Even if the ATP choose to let our singles players gain entry with their singles rankings. Good stuff
