Vicente hasn't won a round at Wimbledon since 1999, when he beat Mamiit, and hasn't even qualified the last two years. He did take a set off Roger Federer in Halle 3 years ago though.

I think Lee could win this match. Of course this may be my heart taking control of the keyboard but still. He definitely deserves to win.

Vicente is I believe really a clay-courter, so Martin has a good chance here. Fingers crossed for a second round against Lleyton Hewitt!

This is a great draw for Lee who can play on grass (final at Newport back in 1999/2000 or something).  I really fancy that after getting through the qualifying he will have the confidence and the game to win.

I'm gonna for for Martin in 3.. Even though Vicente doesn't have much of good record on grass he will take a set at least.. Would be nice to see 4 brits at least in the 2nd round..

according to the scoreboard (it suddenly started working) Vicente to serve first.


The bbc commentators FINALLY told us Lee was playing, it only took them 3 hours to mention it.
