 Most of the WC's are predetermined by competition then you have Venus taking one. I think there might have only been 2 others available

Wednesday GB men and women QR2 matches scheduled from 4 pm BST :

Jake - 1st on Court 5
Toby vs Billy - 2nd on Court 5
Heather - 3rd on Court 5

Fran - 4th on Court 4

Harriet - 3rd on Court 6

Jack - 2nd on Court 7

Katie - 4th on Court 11

Harry - 2nd on Court 14

So our men 1st & 2nd on their courts, our women 3rd & 4th.

And, to be clear, only three of those were at USTA's discretion, which was Emmsie's point to Brendan

Only Venus, Sloane and Sofia were optional, so to speak - so Stoiana would have to have replaced one of those - which is unlikely

Harriet led 3-1 30-0* but allowed the youngster out the game at which point she calmed down and started playing much better. So now it's *4-5 and service holds have been very hard to come by

Error-strewn first set from both girls, but Harriet pretty well cut them all out in the second two sets.

Heather and Katie both on court - haven't got a stream for Katie at the moment.
