Only one win needed for a ranking point here - good chance, to be honest, for all the players, with Chloe having the biggest challenge

Gigi won 6-0 6-0

Chloe indeed, as feared, did struggle rather losing 2-6 4-6

Summer upheld her side of things, winning in three sets, but racing away with it at the third

Eliz and Jodie currently bombing along, much in line with Gigi 'show no mercy' Hays

Really nice they're all in different sections of the draw and I'd hope that we could see 3 out of the 4 qualifying, not expecting much from Summer but Gigi has a chance and Eliz and Jodie are favourites

Gigi continuing where she left off yesterday taking the first set 6-1 in dominant fashion. She's hitting the ball so cleanly especially her forehand

Gigi goes from *6-5 30-30 to being broken and then losing the tie break 7-2 (she went 6-0 down with a mix of Sorska winners and shocking Gigi UEs). A horrible collapse and I fear for the rest of this match

Sorska is the good Ukrainian junior based in the Delgado academy that is going to college in US.
She was beaten by Meg Knight at Liverpool when Meg played yhe best match i've ever seen at junior level. She had beaten Meg previously at Loughborough.

Come on, Gigi !

Sorska is reasonable, and is an ideal candidate for US college, but she's in her last year of juniors and is only ranked about JR 200, never got any higher, and she's been playing quite a lot of events - Edie Griffiths thrashed her at Roehampton recently, Sophie Bekker has beaten her twice this year, although she turned the tables in a MTB at the Notts adult event in qualis

It's a nice enough game but Gigi has more power

But Gigi's backhand doesn't half break down sometimes :(

Caused the collapse at the end of the second set and during the tie break

yes, you can't be that one-sided - and Sorska ain't stupid

Gigi had two break back points but lost 4 points on the trot cry
