Bit of a shame that Eva gets the top seed here

Two wins and qualification needed for a point, of course

A couple of good sections where that's quite likely / possible :

Isabelle, Mia and Lily and all together and have a very good section

As are / do Leticia, Amelia and Georgiana

Sara Milanese is hardly a big threat either

Nor, indeed, Mariani

Indianna appears to have made the main draw. Brooke and Ruby probably have wild cards. Everyone else on the acceptance list is accounted for down to Sophie, Eloise and Savannah who are amongst the alts but below the last direct qualifier.

Isabelle Wong becomes Q17 seed and moves to Karla Bartel's place in the draw. Eloise Newberry takes the spot vacated by Isabelle against Mariani.

Sophie has a WC for one of the summer W35 from winning West Worthing, which looks like she has taken here.
Eva has a QWC from being runner-up at West Worthing.

I would expect Savannah to have a WC.

Thanks Lambda - I had just spotted that whilst halfway through looking up the rankings.

Agreed Savannah will have a third counter if she has the wildcard.

MD R1 losers in W35s don't get a point, whether direct entrants or WCs  Only get a point if came through qualifying.

Ranking opportunities

Eva, Edie and Kristina will be ranked if they qualify

As mentioned, Savannah will be ranked if she has a WC and wins her first match

Jaquelyn needs to qualify to maintain a ranking for another week, although she loses all her current points over the next month.

I thought that only applied to W15s where 1st round got no points?

Lily Hutchings now seems to be out and Sophia Hurrion is in as an ALT (and currrently winning)

Thanks for that, brittak, I was aware of a wiki article table at least that suggested otherwise but knew that in practice in standard 32 player MD W35s R1 losers don't get a point.

It is rather strange though that if it's a 48 player MD, they do get a point for losing in R1 and then 2 points for losing in R2 ( their L32 stage ).

I've had that table saved in my tennis folder, for a couple of years now, and it's always been right
(Sometimes can't be bothered to go and check it - with the expected chaos)
I've looked for a 2025 one, and then a 2026 one, but never been able to find one
I like the colours in it :)
