So, so, close - but ultimately another very disappointing result for Meg

R1 (Q) Megan Knight lost to Capucine Cedillo-Vayson de Pradenne (FRA) 6-1 6-7(6) 7-6(7)

Capucine is a 16 year-old, ranked about JR 150, and not a huge FFT starlet, as far as youngsters go, although not chopped liver, obviously.

ADD: this crossed with David, sorry smile

Ophelia had a rude awakening but Mark is through to the quarters and has just won his quarter-final (you can watch it by clicking the live stream link in the third post, selecting Court 4 for today and rewinding the stream)

Tomorrow Mark will be the second match on the streamed Centre Court looking to reach his first J300 final

It looked from the end of the stream that Mark won (scores not updated on the graphic though) and ITF has now confirmed his first J300 final. His opponent is on a 14 match winning streak, winning a J200 and J300 event

SF

(3) Mark Ceban d. Michael Savano (USA) 6-1 2-6 7-5

F

(4) Oliver Majdandzic (GER) v (3) Mark Ceban

I saw the final 5 or so games

A Ceban special where he seems to be struggling, all far too close for comfort - and then suddenly breaks the other guy with ease (partly the US lad's own fault) at 5-5

But, yes, a bit tricky to follow, given no scores in the actual games, and the game scores would update late

Mark's final has started - live stream is here, but the score graphic updates well after the event, so don't know the current score (might be 4-4).

Looks like it might be 5-7 (the score says 5-6) 6-1 4-4

But someone just won. Possibly 4-6 in the third? A better scoreboard would help. Not to mention better sound.
