maybe DT cant handle al's serve at all, in this 2nd set al has won 4/4 on his 2nd serve, wich is often a weakness of his. if he is playign this well atthe moment and lost to delic i guess delic was having a blinder.

I've got to hand it to Boggo he certainly seemed to handle Tursunov in the 1st set until the end of the tie break sadly and most of the 2nd set till the break.. Certainly does look promising for his grass court season.. He can take alot of positives from this match..

Absolutely. Great from Alex and encouraging I think, we couldn't expect him to beat Tursunov unless DT was having a bad day. I just hope Alex gets a kinder draw at Wimbledon.

Did anybody else hear Dmitry Tursonov on Chris Evans' Radio 2 show this evening?

He was brilliant.  He said he loved beated Brits, as he liked seeing the fans cry!  And that he wished there were more Brits in his tournaments, as he'd be more likely to win them all!

They mentioned his blog too, and he said none of the players talk to him any more!

I do like Dmitry since the blog (except when he's beating brits!) Thanks for the recording RobC.
